Friendship deserves that commitment...
Real friendship includes the following eight responsibilities:
1. Material aid.
Help your companions with food, or money or other things they need for their own survival or development.
2. Personal Support.

If they are sick, visit them;if they are busy, help them;if they have forgotten,remind them.
3. Respect.

Do not complain of their faults to them or to others. Do not give advice when you know it cannot be acted upon.
4. Praise and attention.

Praise the good qualities of your companions, and let them know you care about them.
5. Forgiveness.

Forgive your companions for their failings.
6. Prayer.

Pray for the well being of your companions with the same fervour you pray for your own well-being.
7. Loyalty.

Be firm in your friendships so that you can be depended on by thise who put their trust in you.
8. Relief from discomfort.

Do not create awkward or difficult situations that involve your companions. Do not be a burden to others.

Brainstorming on a sunny afternoon...

Brainstorming on a sunny afternoon...

sitting in my room,

trying to look in the world in a broader perspective...


The world seems as if it is going on back and back... Many things are getting worse... I am tired of hearing the very bad news every minute.


We should find a way to focus on people... We should be united for diversity in a broader perspective. I believe that people can change for understanding and respect. Any people from any background and any thought is an enrichment for the society. But how can we make them work for a bright future together?


Unfortunately there are many abuses, many violations of rights all around the world. The political and governmental powers do not care about the people. They are the small toys of the enormous corporates. They are enlightened with the power of money!...


We do have some tools... We do have knowledge how to work against all this violent, discriminative, fascist and militarist behaviour. What we need is to come together in a strategically planned approach... We are capable of intercultural education, peace education and human rights education. I am glad that I have an aim and I know the tools and involved to work my aim of life (motto)...

Since June 2006 we are shouting "ALL DIFFERENT ALL EQUAL" in Europe. It is a campaign of the youth! The campaign is fantastic... It is built on a fantasy.... on a dream for future... on a commitment to fullfil...

I am committed with the campaign. I am trying to help in making those objectives above a reality. I am convinced that all those obstacles can be overcome... All I saying is "Let's help the campaign to achieve further..."

FINLAND... Countries I have been...

Helsinki at night

We usually make that stupid joke to the people of Finland, when they say their nationality... "So are you finished?"... After 10 days of visiting their country, I think they have too many things to be proud of. Even if long daylight was an ultimate experience for me, I liked the country much. You can start drinking at 15:00 and you can still go on drinking at 23:30 in the daylight, if it is May...

Well, I admit that sometimes I felt that the structure was too much. The rules are strictly applied, and I felt that I do not have free space for myself; as everything is already regulated. The system provides security and prosperity for the citizens, but takes excessive freedom from them.

Helsinki is a beautiful city with very clean streets, beautiful parks... I even witnessed some new squad houses... Young people are trying to play with the huge system as much as they can.

In the end I loved the people of Finland. I am glad for that, as I live for getting to know more people and interact. I suppose it is quite easy to understand regarding the fact that Finland has 12 female ministers and female president...

Müzik Festivalleri

Yaz mevsimi baslıyor… Bu yaz Turkiye’de cok sayıda muzik festivali gerceklesecek. Hangisine/(lerine) katılayım derken arastırmaya girismis bulundum, ve bir liste yaptım. Yaptıgım listeyi sizlerle paylasıyorum. Listelemeye Turkiye’dekilerle baslamıstım, ama kendimi yurtdısındakileri kontrol etmekten alamadım.

Bu yıl Avrupa’yı turlayan buyuk isimlerin neredeyse hepsi Turkiye’yi de ziyaret edecek gibi gorunuyor. Bunların en basında Marilyn Manson, the Smashing Pumpkins, Dream Theatre, Beastie Boys ve Franz Ferdinand geliyor… Umarım eglenceli ve yuksek kaliteli konserler gerceklesir.

Halen hangilerine gidecegime kesin karar vermedim, ama gecen yıl oldugu gibi bu yıl da Sziget agır basıyor gibi… Tool ve Ninch Inch Nails faktoru…

I LOVE MY COUNTRY

I love my country :
I have swung on its plane trees, I have stayed in its prisons.
Nothing can overcome my spleen
as the songs and tobacco of my country.

My country :
Bedreddin, Sinan, Yunus Emre and Sakarya,
lead domes and factory chimneys
are all the work of my people
who even hiding from themselves
smile under their drooping mustaches.

My country.
My country is so large :
it seems that it is endless to go around.
Edirné, Izmir, Ulukıshla, Marash, Trabzon, Erzurum.
I know the Erzurum plateau only in its songs
and I am ashamed
not to have crossed Tauruses even once
to go to the cotton pickers
in the south.

My country :
camels, train, Fords and sick donkeys,
poplar
willow
and red earth.

My country.
The trout which likes
pine forests, best freshwaters and the lakes
at the top of mountains,
and at least half a kilo,
with red reflections on its scaleless, silver skin
swims in the Abant lake of Bolu.

My country :
goats on the Ankara plain :
the sheen of blond, silky, long furs.
The fat plump hazelnuts of Giresun.
The fragrant red-cheeked apples of Amasya,
olive
fig
melon
and of all colours
bunches and bunches of grapes
and then the plough
and then the black ox
and then : ready to accept
everything
advanced, beautiful and good
with the joyous admiration of a child
my hard-working, honest, brave people
half hungry, half full
half slave...

Nazim is a man of principles for me.

He believed in better world... A world of equality... A world of peace...

He was condemned of being a communist. He could not come back to his beautiful country. He was in love with his country indeed... He was a true patriot. The punishment of being away from his precious country was too harsh for him, but he did not give up his ideals.

He showed his mastermind in every small piece of sentence he wrote. He was a genius in literature, namely as a poet.

Long live Nazim... We will not forget you...
